Google is making its AI-powered search experience even more useful by allowing users to connect their favorite apps directly to AI Mode.

The latest update lets AI Mode go beyond simply answering questions. Users can now perform real tasks across supported apps without switching between multiple services.

What Can You Do With the New Feature?

For example, if you’re planning a family barbecue, you can ask AI Mode to generate a grocery list. After connecting your Instacart account, the ingredients can be added directly to your shopping cart, making checkout much faster.

If you’re creating promotional materials, AI Mode can connect with Canva and suggest design templates based on your request.

Music lovers can also ask AI Mode to build playlists and instantly save them to YouTube Music.

Instead of simply providing information, Google’s AI now helps users take action.

Competing With ChatGPT and Claude

This update is part of Google’s broader strategy to make AI Mode a complete digital assistant.
