Google has expanded its AI image generation lineup with the launch of Nano Banana 2 Lite, a lightweight version of its AI model built for high-volume image creation.

According to Google, the new model delivers much faster performance with lower latency, allowing users to create AI-generated images in around four seconds.

Nano Banana 2 Lite is designed for users who need to generate large numbers of images quickly.

Google says the model costs just $0.034 per 1,000 generated images, making it one of the company’s most affordable AI image generation options for businesses and developers.
